Beaverton, Ore. — Verizon Wireless and Comcast will offer each other’s services to customers in the Portland-Vancouver area and several other parts of Oregon and Washington, the companies announced Tuesday.

As a promotional incentive, the companies are offering a prepaid Visa card of as much as $300 to new customers who sign up for both qualifying Comcast service and a Verizon Wireless smartphone or tablet plan.

The combined marketing effort is being tested in the Portland and Seattle markets, and will be refined based on customer feedback, the companies said.
