A big first quarter carried the host Falcons the the 3A Greater St. Helens League win. Prairie (10-4, 4-2) outscored Kelso 21-6 in the first quarter.
Three Prairie players scored in double figures. Ryan Denny had 16 points, Preston brooks 14 and JaMariay McDonald 11. Nathan Cherzan scored seven of his eight points in the first quarter.
Kelso’s Aaron Adams scored 19 points.
