CLARK COUNTY — The deadline to register to vote in the Feb. 14 special election is Monday for those who have previously registered in Washington and Feb. 6 for those who have never registered in the state.

Registering again is required for those who have changed their name or address since the last time they voted. If registering online, do so by 11:59 p.m. on Monday; if registering by mail, do so by Saturday. Postal service is not provided on Monday in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Additionally, those changing their address who only moved within the county can call the Clark County Elections Department at 360-397-2345 or email the department at elections@clark.wa.gov to update their information.

Washington residents who have never registered to vote can do so by Feb. 6 online, by mail or in person at the County Elections Department, 1408 Franklin St., Vancouver. Citizens can pick up mail-in voter registration forms from various community locations including libraries, school registrar offices and city hall. Military and overseas ballots will be mailed to voters by Jan. 15.

Levies for the Evergreen, Hockinson and Ridgefield school districts will be included on the special elections ballot next month. A ballot listing all measures for the election is available to view on the Clark County Elections Department website at http://clarkvotes.org.
