Vancouver community leaders will get an inside look at Evergreen schools on Tuesday.

An event called “Principal for a Day” pairs the executives and public figures with a school principal for a job shadow followed by a meeting with Superintendent John Deeder.

This year’s participants are Ben Bagherour, vice president of SEH America, who will be at Evergreen High School; Avaly Mobbs, director of the Builders Industry Association of Clark County, who will be at Cascade Middle School; Bill Turlay, a Vancouver city councilman, who will be at Burton Elementary School; and Capt. Doug Murray, Burton fire station, who will be at Endeavour Middle School.

The four will spend the morning at their schools and meet with the superintendent at lunch time.
