The Storm needed a defensive showing in the fourth quarter and they got it in a win over the improving Timberwolves.

Tied going into the fourth, Skyview held Heritage to two field goals and eight points. The Storm took advantage of a few turnovers to get some easy looks to take the lead.

Austin Bonds connected on three 3-pointers and led the Storm with 19 points. Ryan Bickford had 14 points, four steals, and three blocked shots.

Skyview improved to 4-1 in the 4A Greater St. Helens League and will take on first-place Union on Thursday.

Heritage has not picked up a league win this season but has played tough against Union and now Skyview in recent outings.

Timmy Hergert scored 28 points to pace the Timberwolves. David Martin added 13.
