Boys basketball: Mountain View 64, Fort Vancouver 57

Zach Torson scored 17 points, including a pair of pivotal 3-pointers down the stretch to lead the Thunder to a 3A Greater St. Helens League win.

Fort Vancouver rallied to cut Mountain View’s lead to 51-50 with four minutes left when Torson hit the first of two big 3-pointers to put the Thunder back up by four.

“It just seemed like every time we made a run, (Mountain View) stepped up and made a big 3,” Fort coach Scott Thompson said.

Mountain View made nine 3-pointers in the game and three in the fourth quarter. Ryan Johnson had 16 points and Luke DuChesne added 15 for the Thunder.

Matthew Delisle had 21 to lead Fort.
