Ridgefield — After three years and 1,000 issues, Kathy Winters’ weekly e-newsletter, FYI 98642, is changing to an occasional blog.
“This means you will now have to look for me. The newsletter will no longer be delivered to your computer on Thursday mornings,” she wrote.
Instead, fans who subscribe will get automatic updates perhaps as often as daily, Winters said. “I look at this as a community effort, so I welcome articles and photos of things that are of interest to people in Ridgefield.” Winters created the newsletter when Barack Obama was elected president “I wanted do something that benefitted the community,” she said and now there are more than 700 regular subscribers.
