Camas police announce arson reward

Fire set outside Camas High School on Feb. 4

Camas police are announcing a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who attempted to set a fire at Camas High School.

The attempted arson occurred sometime Feb. 4 at the school, which is at 26900 S.E. 15th St. The attempt was unsuccessful; damage was limited to part of one window.

The investigation involves the Camas police and fire marshal, and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.

Anyone with information can contact the Camas police.
