Girls basketball: Tumwater 52, Hockinson 38

The Hawks’ season ended with a loss to the Tumwater Thunderbirds at Chehalis.

Carly McIsaac scored 13 of her 24 points in the second quarter to help the Thunderbirds build a 12-point halftime lead. Haley Vandenhazel added 17 points for Tumwater in the loser-out game.

Maggie Smith scored 11 points and Jenna Haagen 10 for Hockinson, which finished the season with a 10-13 record.

Katelyn McGuire grabbed 11 rebound for the Hawks.
