The Battle Ground School Board this week approved the possible purchase of two parcels of land totaling nearly three acres for a maximum price of just more than $350,000.
The land is next to the district stadium and the Battle Ground High School softball fields.
The sale and final price is pending final approval by the sellers, Dane and Barbara Walla.
The land would square off the high school property, board President John Idsinga said. The board unanimously voted for the district to move ahead with the purchase plans.
