Girls basketball: Skyview 52, Battle Ground 33

A steady effort polished off a perfect league season for the host Storm.

Eight players scored, and Skyview steadily pulled away from the Tigers to finish 12-0 in the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League.

Jocelyn Adams’ 12 points topped the scoring list for the Storm (18-2 overall). Skyview led 26-13 by halftime.

Skyview next plays in the bi-district tournament, hosting Olympia at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Battle Ground (11-9, 7-5) was led by 11 points from Haley Grossman. The Tigers finished second in the 4A GSHL and will begin bi-district playoffs on Wednesday at either Emerald Ridge of Puyallup or Kentwood.
