A high-risk sex offender who targeted young girls has moved to the 9300 block of Northeast 15th Avenue, just east of Highway 99 in Hazel Dell.

Donnie Lee Fisher, 46, is classified as a Level 3 sex offender, the group considered most likely to commit new sex crimes, according to a bulletin from the Sex Offender Registration Unit of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

He has been convicted of two counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes. He molested two girls, ages 6 and 7, the bulletin said.

He was arrested twice for probation violations, for allegedly videotaping young girls at schools, a county fair and other community events.

In February 2010, he pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted voyeurism and one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, for secretly filming the genital areas of young girls as they played.

Fisher is white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 140 pounds, with brown, receding hair and green eyes.

Until now, he had been registered as homeless, according to his bulletin.

Fisher is monitored by the sheriff’s unit and the state Department of Corrections.

Homeless Level 3 sex offenders are especially dangerous because it’s harder to monitor them, officials say.
