Girls basketball: Seton Catholic 42, WSD 25

Seton Catholic 42, Washington School for the Deaf 25 — Emma Young and Christina Lundy each had six points in the decisive third quarter, leading Seton Catholic to victory.

Lundy finished with 18 points, and Edrienne Chan added 12 for the Cougars.

Maria Chavez led WSD with 11 points.

Seton finished third in the Columbia Valley League and will travel Thursday to face Mary M. Knight in Matlock in the opening round of the district tournament.
