Girls basketball: Prairie 64, Kelso 30

A 21-2 first quarter took away any suspense from the Falcons’ final regular-season game.

Cori Woodward scored 16 points and had six assists and six rebounds. She hit four of seven 3-point shots.

Jackie Lanz added 15 points and Megan Lindsley added 12 as Prairie completed another unbeaten league season. Kelso was forced into 35 turnovers.

The Falcons’ Heather Corral sat out Friday’s game with an undisclosed injury.

Kelso finished tied with Camas for second place. Those teams will play a tie-breaker at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Prairie High School.
