Girls basketball: La Center 52, White Salmon 40

Samantha Wise scored 11 points and Annie Baker added nine as La Center kept its hope alive for second place in the Trico League.

The Wildcats finish league play Saturday against Ilwaco. If La Center wins, it would tie Stevenson for second place, necessitating a tiebreaker for the automatic berth into the district tournament.
