Shane McCauley scored 19 points and Taylor Drey added 18 as Mountain View used a big third quarter to win the consolation final at the Archbishop Murphy Tournament in Everett.

Mountain View led 32-30 at halftime, but the Thunder outscored Washington 25-10 in the third quarter to take command.

“The third quarter was the key,” coach Nate DuChesne said. “We came out with much better defensive intensity, and that created a lot of opportunities for us.”

Mountain View returns to league play Friday against Hudson’s Bay having won four of its past five games.
