Preston Brooks’ double-double earned him the Slam Division player of the game honors at the Surf ‘N Slam Tournament in San Diego.
Brooks scored 11 points and had 11 assists in Prairie’s balanced attack that beat the team from Canada.
Mason Pack led the Falcons with 14 points. He also had five blocks. James Phillips also had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
“We played hard defensively and got a lot of guys some quality minutes,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said.
Prairie held St. Albert to 13 first-half points.
The Falcons will face Mountain View of Utah at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.
