Girls basketball: Post Falls (Idaho) 76, Mountain View 30

Carly Holboke scored 18 points for the Thunder, who played one of the best teams in the Northwest in the first round of the Wildcat Holiday Classic at Archbishop Murphy High School in Everett.

“They’re really good,” Mountain View coach Mat Clark said. “It wasn’t us. It was them. They’re just really good.”

Mountain View will face Anacortes at 10:45 a.m. Friday in the second day of the tournament.
