• MacKay Sposito, a consultant in energy, public works and land development, has added Allison Jones as a geographical information systems specialist to their survey group. Jones received a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University and will graduate with a master of science degree in GIS and geography from Portland State University in 2013. She will work in the Vancouver office.

• Kevin L. Boyer Sr. from Chappell’s Towing LLC of Vancouver has received the American Towman ACE Award for achievement in service performance. The ACE Award is presented by American Towman Magazine, the leading trade publication for emergency road service professionals. The nomination guidelines for the award include the highest percentage of calls when the estimated time of arrival is achieved, consistency in response time, written appreciation from customers and percentage of calls serviced.

• Salmon Creek Hospital Foundation has elected Dale Q. Rice and Karen L. Stanley to its board of trustees. Rice, a former banker, founded Dale Q. Rice, Investments Management, Ltd. in 1999. He also has served on the board of Vancouver Public Schools since 1990. Stanley, a licensed real estate agent, is owner of Karen Stanley Realty. Prior to her real estate career, she was chief executive officer and managing dentist for Lacamas Dental Group.
