Girls basketball: Mountain View 49, Columbia River 34

Carly Holboke scored 28 points to lead the visiting Thunder to the Class 3A Greater St. Helens League win.

Mountain View won with productive first and fourth quarters. Holboke’s two 3-pointers helped the Thunder open the game with a 10-2 advantage. She also hit two 3-pointers in the third quarter.

Bailey Lindsley scord eight of her 12 points in the fourth quarter, when Mountain View (3-3, 1-0) pulled away. Columbia River (2-5, 0-1) trailed by 15 points in the third quarter but was within six points in the fourth quarter.

Marion Lilly scored 16 points to lead the Chieftains.
