Boys basketball: Washougal 74, Centralia 64

Nate Adams scored six of his 10 points in the third quarter when Washougal picked up the defensive pressure to rally to a non-league win over Centralia.

Centralia led 41-37 at halftime. But a couple of 3-pointers from Jaden Jantzer and Adams’ inside presence led to a 20-9 third-quarter advantage for the Panthers (5-2).

Mike McElroy led Washougal with 19 points, while Austin Tran (14) and Aaron Deister (13) also scored in double figures.
