The blustery, rainy day did little to dampen the enthusiasm of the local communities, which donated a total of 85,120 pounds of food — a new Stuff the Bus record. Washougal won the competition between the cities, with an average of 11.8 pounds per student, for a total of 36,300 pounds. Camas averaged 7.8 pounds per student, for a total of 48,820 pounds. Donations will be divided among the Children’s Home Society of Washington, Christmas Activities Relief Organization Limited and the American Legion Post 122 food basket program.
