A Vancouver woman remained hospitalized Monday night with injuries suffered in a Sunday morning crash on state Highway 14.
Lori Gibson, 48, was in critical condition at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
Paul Gibson, 48, who was driving the vehicle that Lori Gibson was a passenger in, was released from the hospital Monday.
The two were injured around 3 a.m. Sunday when their Jeep Cherokee was hit by another Cherokee on Highway 14 near 164th Avenue, according to the Washington State Patrol. The second Cherokee was driven by Christopher Weddle, 26, of Keizer, Ore.
According to WSP, both cars were in the right eastbound lane immediately before the crash. When Weddle attempted to go around Gibson, the cars collided, WSP said.
