The Thunder played a tough 2-3 zone against the Hawks to earn the non-league win on the road.

Taylor Drey and Alex Torson each had 13 points for Mountain View.

Hockinson (1-3) was hurt by 24 turnovers and 4 for 22 shooting from 3-point range.

“We had a hard time getting into rhythm,” Hockinson coach Matt Gruhler said. “We are a better shooting team than we showed. And the turnovers didn’t help.”
