Boys basketball: Washougal 68, Terry Fox 55

Mike McElroy and Aaron Deister each had 13 points as Washougal used its press to pull away from Terry Fox from British Columbia.

The Panthers (4-1) forced 16 steals off their press. It was especially effective in the second quarter as Washougal opened a 36-25 halftime lead.

McElroy added seven assists, and Deister had eight rebounds. Nate Adams added 12 points and nine rebounds.
