Boys basketball: Skyview 61, Fort Vancouver 60

Ben Speis scored four of the Storm’s six points in overtime as Skyview edged visiting Fort Vancouver in a game that was close from start to finish.

Skyview (2-1) got the game into overtime when Jordan Berni hit two of three free throws after being fouled on a 3-point attemp at the fourth-quarter buzzer.

The game was tied at halftime, and at the end of the third quarter.

Berni finished with a game-high 20 points for the Storm, and Keegan Liebelt added 17.

Three Trappers scored in double figures. Jordan Howard led Fort with 19 points, Matt Delisle added 17 and Loris Hervey 16.

Fort Vancouver had a good look at a possible the basket as time expired in overtime, but the shot failed to fall.
