Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency is starting a 30-day contest today to test and reward people’s emergency preparedness.
Participants complete a daily “preparedness task” worth points and send in their answer to the website; the Facebook Fan Page; or via Twitter to @30Days_30Ways.
CRESA created the contest in 2010 in honor of National Preparedness Month.
According to a bulletin from CRESA, 40 to 80 percent of people are unprepared to face many hazards.
The countywide 911 center asked the community to donate prizes to the game.
