Three teens were arrested early Monday after allegedly waving a gun around at several people at a central Vancouver gas station.
Police were dispatched to a reported disturbance with a weapon at 1:46 a.m. at the Town Pump at 3515 E. Fourth Plain Blvd., according to emergency dispatch logs.
Police were told a verbal dispute outside the store turned into a scuffle. When a store employee went out to try to get people to leave, someone pulled a gun on the crowd, said Kim Kapp, Vancouver police spokeswoman.
No shots were fired.
Several patrol officers responded.
The suspects, two 17-year-old boys and one 16-year-old girl, were found walking away after the incident. They were arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault and unlawful possession of a firearm. They were booked into the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center. Names were not released.
The report was sent to the Safe Streets Task Force to see if the incident was gang-related. On Monday, there was no indication one way or another, Kapp said.
