What’s the buzz from the world of sports? Here are some items that will have people talking:

The King’s Court is taking it up a notch.
For Felix Hernandez’s next home start — Tuesday vs. Cleveland — all of Safeco Field will be his.
The Supreme Court will be in session.
Nice move by the Mariners to not only have its King’s Court section of fans in left field, but the first 34,000 fans into Tuesday’s game will get a “King of Perfection” T-shirt and a commemerative “K” card.
All of Safeco Field will a tribute to Hernandez’s perfect game and the great pitcher he is.

Third place in the NL West doesn’t sit well with the Arizona Diamondbacks especially since San Francisco Giants’ Melky Cabrera was somewhat responsible.
Now Caberea is suspended for 50 games and won’t be a part of the nine games remaining against Arizona.
Cabrera has hit .462 against Diamondbacks pitching with two homers and six RBI.
For those keeping score at home, Cabrera is the third player with a positive test for performance enhancing drugs to have hurt the Diamondbacks. Add in Milwaukee’s Ryan Braun (even though he was cleared) in last year’s NL Divisional Series, and Manny Ramirez with the Dodgers in 2008.
“Part of me says that alright, enough already,” Arizona manager Kirk Gibson said before his team’s game Wednesday. “We’ve made a commitment to stopping that type of activity and we still, from time to time, find people are still trying to fool the system.”

Anyone catch the debut of the Pac-12 Network on Wednesday?
Seattle Times reporter Bud Withers did. He wrote:
“Of course, it’s not easy to envision the perfect way to, uh, start a cable network. It’d be a little like covering an overtime football game at which a fire breaks out in one grandstand and the bleachers collapse in another, and you can only write one story.”
And Withers really liked former football coach Rick Neuheisel’s role.”If there was a star of the first couple of hours, it was Neuheisel … who showed himself to be as quick and facile behind the camera as a lot of us thought he would be.”
