Watershed Stewards Volunteer Training: 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursdays Sept. 6 through Nov. 8 at Clark County Operations Conference Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St.

Learn what you can do to maintain healthy watersheds for the community, fish and wildlife and future generations. After training, volunteers will work on a variety of projects with the Watershed Stewards Program and local environmental partners in public outreach and education, stream restoration, water-quality monitoring, classroom presentations and community workshops.
