Destination Downtown, Sweet Spot Sports and Bike Clark County are hosting an easy after-work ride and giving away helmets to new cyclists Wednesday evening.

The ride starts at 5:30 p.m. at Sweet Spot Sports, 105 W. 6th St., and ends around 6:30 p.m. at the Angst Gallery, 1015 Main St. The gallery will stay open later for the event.

Six bicycles will be available to rent for free at 5 p.m., but riders must RSVP by emailing derekhofbauer@altaplanning.com with their cellphone number.

All riders get a free bike gift bag from Destination Downtown, and Sweet Spot will raffle off one of their bicycling skirts at the event.
