Four people reported minor injuries after an accident north of Battle Ground.
The Washington State Patrol said the accident occurred about 3:53 p.m. Sunday along Highway 503, four miles north of Battle Ground, when a 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier ran off the road.
The car plowed through the grass for several hundred feet, struck a road sign, and went airborne after striking the edge of a private road that acted like a ramp. The Chevy flew through the air and struck a parked 1961 Ford Galaxie, and finally a tree, before coming to rest on its right side.
The four occupants of the Chevy were injured, including driver Trevor Hauzenberger, 19, of Washougal, who complained of neck and back soreness.
Also complaining of bruises and soreness were passengers D’Ann Hauzenberger, 44, of Ridgefield, and Haley D. Rousey, 17, of Washougal. The fourth occupant was a 7-month-old baby, Lukas Bolton of Washougal, who suffered a cut to his face.
