The PGA Championship has always been considered the other major. The also-ran.
The PGA Championship has given us some great stories over the years, but it’s still the PGA Championship.
It should try to stand out, but, naturally, golf officials decided to hold the PGA Championship on the same weekend as the last weekend of the Olympics.
They spell dumb d-u-m-m.
Now, there are only two players in the field who could move the meter to even contend with the Olympics coverage. Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
Anyone else wins, no one will care.
Are we sure Nicolas Batum is European? He seems awfully American to us after his explanation for punching an opponent in a place no man wants to be punched.
