A sport utility vehicle flipped when it crashed into a pickup parked in a Washougal neighborhood Friday night. No one was seriously injured.

Around 6:46 p.m., the driver of a Dodge Durango became distracted while driving westbound on the 2900 block of I Street, according to Officer Kate Tierney. The vehicle struck a parked Chevy pickup, and the impact of the collision caused the Durango to go airborne and land on its top, she said. Both vehicles sustained major damage.

Washougal Fire and two officers from the Washougal Police Department responded, along with an ambulance.

Two passengers and the driver of the SUV were transported to PeaceHealth Southwest for minor injuries. Names of those involved were not released.

The driver was cited for negligent driving in the second degree.
