Gubernatorial debate to be held at WSU Vancouver

Washington State University Vancouver will host the gubernatorial debate between candidates Jay Inslee and Rob McKenna on Aug. 29.

The debate will be from 8 to 9 p.m. at the WSU Vancouver auditorium. It will be broadcast live on KATU-TV and Brian Wood will be the host, the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce announced Friday.

The auditorium can seat less than 200 people. Tickets are free and will be distributed to the community, the Vancouver chamber said. Forty tickets will be saved for the public and will be available starting Aug. 16. Details on how to get them will be available on Aug. 13.

CVTV and TVW will rebroadcast the debate on Comcast channels 21 and 23.
