The Southwest Washington Agency on Aging & Disabilities Advisory Council is seeking a new member from Clark County.

The council is a group of volunteers representing older adults and people with disabilities in Clark, Cowlitz, Wahkiakum, Skamania and Klickitat counties.

Council members identify needs in their communities, seek services to meet those needs and advocate on behalf of the people they represent.

The council meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every third Wednesday of the month in various locations throughout the five-county planning and service area. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.

For information or an application, contact Klaus Micheel, SWAAD planning and advocacy manager, at 360-735-5752 or michekd@dshs.wa.gov.
