Liquor privatization: Washington cities are asking Gov. Gregoire to veto portions of HB 2823, a bill that would take $10 million in shared liquor tax revenues, not portions of the initiative approved by voters to privatize sales. The distinction was not clearly made in a story on A1 Thursday.
