The first-ever Southwest Washington Special Education Conference and Resource Fair will be held 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Prairie High School.
The conference will provide resources to families of children and young adults (birth to 21) with special needs, regardless of the severity of their disability. It is open to parents and others who serve the disabled from the entire Southwest Washington-Portland area.
The conference is being hosted by the Prairie High School special education department and will include a keynote address by Vancouver author Connie Ruth Christiansen, workshops and sessions, exhibits and door prizes.
A schedule of the workshops and other details are available at Conference and Resource Fair.
