Shumway — The Main Street headquarters of the Building Industry Association was “horribly tagged with graffiti over (a recent) weekend, extending down the west side of the building and covering two windows,” reported executive director Avaly Mobbs. The crime occurred right before the April 16 visit of Washington State Attorney General Rob McKenna. Riding immediately to the rescue were DK LeSieur’s painting division and paint retailer Sherwin Williams, donating supplies and labor. In under two hours, Mobbs said, “Dan LeSieur and his painting crew had quickly and professionally repainted the west side of our building.” Mobbs wants any leads on who tagged the building.
