Some Vancouver residents will receive a call Wednesday evening allowing them to participate in a telephone town hall meeting with state Rep. Tim Probst, D-Vancouver.Some residents of the 17th Legislative District will get an automatically generated call at about 6 p.m. Wednesday, although there may be a slight delay in reaching some homes. Those receiving the call have the opportunity to ask Probst a question, and they can listen to the conference call live as other people ask questions.
The telephone town hall will focus on plans to create economic recovery, as well as other topics tackled by lawmakers during the 2012 Legislature.
Probst’s last telephone town hall took place in February. He also is planning an in-person town hall meeting in June. The date and location has yet to be announced.
