The New Hampshire Bureau of Securities is investigating an investment company that no longer has its clients’ money. Its list of victims includes La Center couple.

Carla Olin of La Center told The Concord Monitor in New Hampshire that she and her husband lost $300,000 to the investment company owned by her cousin, Aaron Olson, 39, of Rindge, New Hampshire.

“You can get angry and bitter, but that’s not going to help you none,” Olin told the paper.

“It’s really, really hard because I am very close to (Olson’s) older sister and his mother, and they are very dear and honest people. And I believe Aaron is too. I just believe he got in a bad way.”

The paper reports that many of the man’s clients are relatives.

Olin declined an interview request from The Columbian on Friday afternoon.
