Plans to build a new senior living complex in the Salmon Creek area have been submitted to the county by Salem, Ore.-based senior-housing company Bonaventure Senior Living.

The company has proposed a 136-unit complex to be called Bonaventure of Salmon Creek located on a four-acre site bordering the west side of Northeast Salmon Creek Avenue off of 136th Circle.

The developers are scheduled to discuss the project with officials from the Clark County Community Development department on May 3.

The project represents the company’s expansion in the Clark County market. Bonaventure also operates a Vancouver complex called Bridgewood at Four Seasons Retirement and Assisted Living Community at 11700 N.E. Angelo Drive, just off Northeast 28th Street.

According to Bonaventure’s website, the company operates 38 senior and assisted-living centers in six states.
