• Melissa Demsky, who has more than 10 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, has been promoted to regional director for asset management at Volia Water North America. Demsky has been with the company since 2005 and works in the Vancouver office. She recently served as the assistant project manager for Volia’s operation, maintenance and management services contract for the city of Vancouver’s wastewater treatment plants.

• Skamania Lodge has hired Karlyn Dewald as its revenue management director. Her responsibilities will include overseeing market strategies, new business development and strengthening Skamania Lodge’s positioning within the consumer market.
