JPMorgan Chase has contributed $40,000 to a Washington State University Vancouver business mentoring program, bringing its total contribution for the program to $62,000.

The money will go to the Business Growth Mentor & Analysis Program within WSUV’s college of business. The program helps businesses and nonprofits in the Vancouver/Portland metropolitan area manage their growth by providing consulting services and project management. Business students participating in the program gain hands-on experiences, and the university contributes to the local economy by helping businesses grow and increase employment.

The program served 11 businesses in WSUV’s fall semester and 22 businesses this spring, the university reported.
