An alleged burglar got nothing but a dog bite and a free ride to the Clark County Jail after breaking into a Pleasant Highlands-area home.
The burglary was reported around 12:30 p.m. at 4116 N.E. 134th St. near Salmon Creek, according to emergency dispatch logs.
A woman saw a male subject enter the home through her bedroom window, ran out the front door and called 911 from a neighbors home, said Sgt. Fred Neiman with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived, the suspect ran out the back of the home. A sheriff’s office K-9 tracked the man through the neighborhood and “made contact,” Neiman said.
