Comments from our observers: Murphy Dennis said, “I had 18.25¿ of snow for March and that brings me to just over 5 feet of measurable snow since the first of the year. Glad it didn’t all fall at once!” Tyler Mode’s Minnehaha station had “the wettest March … in my 17 years, beats out March 2011 with 6.62 inches which was the old record.”
Larry Lebsack said, “With the trend of the last two years of cool, rainy spring and early summer, I’ve decided to start my seeds inside the last week of April, then put them out around the first of June.”
