Small-business chairman, Herrera Beutler to hold discussions

The chairman of the U.S. House Small Business Committee will visit Vancouver next week to host two roundtable discussions with small-business owners.

The chairman, U.S. Rep. Sam Graves, a R-Mo., will meet with people from roughly 50 Southwest Washington small businesses from 3 to 4 p.m. April 10. The roundtable will be at the Red Cross Community Room, E.B. Hamilton Hall, 605 Barnes St., at the Fort Vancouver National Site.

The second event is a tour of about a dozen small businesses in Woodland, followed by a roundtable discussion. The tour begins 9 a.m. April 11 at American Paper Converting, 1845 Howard Way in Woodland. The roundtable begins at 10:30 a.m.

U.S. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Camas, also will attend both roundtable meetings. She is a member of the House’s Small Business Committee.

Attendance at the events is limited to those invited.
