Brush Prairie — Bryn Smick, a Brush Prairie resident and sophomore at Washington State University, was selected as a member of the WSU Coug Guys and Gals for the 2011-12 academic year. Coug Guys and Gals serve as ambassadors for the Cougar Athletic Department. Smick will help with the Cougar Athletic Fund and president’s association events. On football game days, ambassadors greet fans on campus, work on the field and help the athletic staff in the Martin Stadium press box. They also provide free shuttle service before and after each WSU football game in Pullman.
