VANCOUVER — Skyview High School teacher Mark Ray is among nine finalists for Washington’s 2012 Teacher of the Year award. Ray is a media specialist at Skyview.
The nine finalists represent the state’s nine educational service districts; Ray represents Educational Service District 112, which serves four Southwest Washington counties and parts of two others.
Randy Dorn, state superintendent of public instruction, will announce Washington’s 2012 Teacher of the Year at an award ceremony in Seattle on Oct. 3.
