Northeast Hazel Dell — Dr. Gretchen Schnepper, a local orthodontist, has launched a Partners in Education program to help offset school budget cuts. Schnepper, of The Modern Orthodontist, will donate $100 to the school of every new patient who begins treatment during the 2011-12 school year. On Sept. 22, Schnepper delivered her first donations of $2,900 to 20 Clark County schools. Her hope is the funds will be used to support the arts and similar much-needed programs. Donations will continue throughout the year. Schnepper is also involved with the Smiles Changes Lives program, which helps provide braces for children in need.
